Gorgeous two-volume catalogue in cardboard dust jacket made for the exhibition of both Penn and Miyake "Issey Miyake: Pleats Please", at the Touko Museum of Contemporary Art in 1990. The first volume is illustrated with 3 color plates and others in black and white and the second volume is 24 pages with 14-color illustrations and a poem by Shuntaro Tanikawa. Both present series of garments, fashion series, exhibition installations and texts both in English and Japanese. In great condition but has a marker writing ‘Issey Miyake’ on the spine.
